a little help in a chaotic world

So i tend to be one of those people who every once in awhile cant resit but just start browsing blogs search engines, etc... for useful web service applications. The exciting thing about the web these days is there are companies such as Google who ultimately make money by attracting you to their service, and to do that, they will bend over backwards to change the whole industry to serve us better as the years go on. Its about damn time we have web services that make our lives a little bit easier without requiring you to pay for anything. there are a few that i have found recently that I'll talk about here. they are turning out to be quite amazing.

1. www.Google.com (and everything that goes with it)

If you haven't made a Gmail account yet, do it now, because it not only will make it easier for you to organize your life now, but it will simply help you organize your self even more as the years go by.
the best thing about Google and all its applications is that it will serve as the platform for all other web services that you will use.

2. www.jott.com -- speech to text works with your Gmail account, allows you to essentially call the jott number tell them who you want to jott ( ex: mom) then leave a message to the person "like hey mom, i just wanted to tell you about jott and how much i enjoy using it" and it will allow you to send the message after it converts it to text either in an email or an sms message. It is also possible to make lists on the go using jot by calling up Jott and when it asks you "who do you want to jott, saying the title of one of your lists ( ex: grocery, or todo, and other custom lists) and it will add the item to the list for you to check later. ---this is great for when your out on the town and get a random idea that you want to remember for later but don't want to worry about remembering at the time being.

3. www.mint.com this is a pretty interesting financial managment service that i stumbled upon by accident. Essentially they have connections to over 5000 banks and after entering in certain information for your accouns( dont worry its 100%) secure, sides their in buissnes to make money- which wont happen if they aren't responsible with your info. just do it.
Any way, it allows you to keep track of your finaces in one convient website from all outlets. say you have a debit card, a few credit cards and savings as well, along with rewards from your credit cards...it allows you to keep track of where your money is going and even helps you find ways to save money.

Just check those sites out---they are pretty good and useful sites that will help make your life easier RIGHT NOW!!
